I studied photography at Exeter College of Art and Design, England, and Graphic Design at the “Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste”, Stuttgart, Germany, finishing there in 1992 with a diploma in Graphic-Design.
In the following two years I worked as a photographers assistant in Paris and London, mainly in the field of fashion and people.
1994 opening of my first photo studio in Stuttgart. I have been commissioned for print campaigns, corporate reports and posters.
From 1995 on I have been shooting for travel magazines, book publishers and international agencies. Up to now I have visited almost 50 countries around the world, photographing 140 travel reportages.
A new field unfolded in 2011 when I received my first commission from a leading car magazine in Germany. Since then I have become specialist for editorial car photography.
2005 – 2012
A long term project in different countries on the theme of Nightlife .
I am undertaking a photographic series on the subject of Christianity. The first in the series is The Seven Deadly Sins.
2010 – 2011
Project with the University of Rhein / Main: “the new members of the Bundestag“. The project shows portraits of selected new deputies of parliament within the architecture of the Bundestag.
